Welcome! I agree with you that reddit's an unmanageable mess now. 2016 felt like the turning point (after a couple of pretty big hiccups) and since then it's just become the crossroads of blatant propagandaville and childish pettiness.

I don't even go back there anymore, unless someone links to somethhing of interest. I miss the way it could sometimes be--like droves of us reading Wikileaks dumps and sharing in real time what we discovered there. It was amazing, and they fucking ruined it for real.
