The /s/SaidIt/wiki/ is actually the best place to start seeking information. It links to thinks like the Terms, the Debate Pyramid, has a FAQ, apps, the master Wiki List, as well as User Wiki Pages and other wiki pages.

Today I created Glossary On SaidIt : /s/SaidIt/wiki/glossary

I wish I'd started it months ago. Maybe it's the librarian or the autist in me or whatever but I like organizing and making info accessible. I have a huge truther-political-spycraft-deepstate glossary and would hope most of those terms eventually make it in, but I have no plans to make that happen. This list, assuming people keep it up, would help define the character of SaidIt, if only from a certain angle.

Also, FYI, others have contributed too. I am not the only curator of the wiki. These are not my wikis. These are the wikis of the SaidIt community.

I could have complained about this or that missing, or I could start just making them to lead by example and start the ball rolling. The wikis are a wonderful potential resource, like evolving posts that don't slip away in time.

Hey random question Jason, but could you help us make a new pyramid of debate? I want to add a new lowest level, at the very bottom below everything else, called "Advocating Violence" or in a more expanded form "Advocating violence against groups or individuals". It's kind of implicit, but I want to explicitly put it on there because it's unfortunately becoming relevant to reference.

If you could use this original picture to add the new layer that'd be awesome: https://saidit.net/static/debatepyramid.jpg

It could say "Violence" on the left and then "Advocating violence against groups or individuals" and be shaded an even darker red. If you're busy, I can do it, no worries. Just thought you might want to take a crack at it. We just need the one image for our terms and policy page.

Perfect timing. For a week or few I've been planning to make new versions of all these, but without the problematic transparent background. https://infogalactic.com/info/SaidIt_gallery#The_Debate_Pyramid I wanted to wrap a lot of things up before May.

I reworded my versions a little bit to be shorter and hopefully better. I'm kicking myself for not thinking of that "Advocating Violence" thing. Very good.

Also, I called it "The Debate Pyramid", again for brevity over "The Pyramid Of Debate". While it's a triangle/pyramid shape, I'm wanting to find another name. "Debate From Chaos To Order" isn't catchy. "Debate Civility Hierarchy" is meh. Pyramid is just the background image shape, and yes the top is more rare, but it's the civility rank that really matters IMO.

Also, I want to change "ass hat" to "asstroll" another thing I'm trying to popularize. Yes/no?

Good, glad to hear it lines up with your plans. Glad you like my name for the new level.

"The Debate Pyramid" sounds fine. I can't think of a catchier name either. It's technically called "Graham's Hierarchy of Disagreement" which is much less catchy than our names. I'll probably keep calling it "The Pyramid Of Debate" myself though, it sounds more official to me that way for some reason.

Leave the "ass hat", that's iconic! You can't touch that! haha.

Anyway good ideas, thanks for the image work!

Official, yes. True. I'll use the official version to sound fancier. The rest I'm gonna be lazy, invert, and omit the "of" and make it sound like a 1970's game show: https://typicaltracy.files.wordpress.com/2013/04/dick-clark-host-of-the-25000-pyramid4.jpeg

I'm gonna keep thinkin on it. And I'll revamp the graphic tomorrow/today.

Haha. Cool, sounds good! Thanks

Maybe we can call it "The Magnora Discourse Scale"*

* Modified from that Graham thing.

Or the "SaidIt Pinnacle"

Or put little wheels under it and call it M7D3?
