I don't downvote often, but when I do it's because I've clicked 'fun', and RES still thinks that's the downvote.

Is that something that could be changed in a few minutes, or is it a whole recoding job?

I'd have to see exactly what you are talking about changing. It's probably quick. I need to revisit this RES thing, Jesus is interested in using it too.

If it's easy, it might be as simple as changing the - to a + for the fun voting choice, which was the downvote on reddit.

What it does now is increment your displayed vote score total on that account by one when insightful is clicked, and decrement by one when fun is clicked. Clicking both results in no change in the displayed score, as they cancel out.

Now that I'm typing this, an actually worse problem is that the "dropdown window or bar" from the comment directly above this edit window overlaps onto this window.

Out to the left of the header for your comment, just to the left of the insightful bulb, is the [-].

The 'activation bar' for that hide/show button extends down as far as the 'save' box below, and overlaps on this edit window by a full character, and right up against the first displayed character on the left margin. The effect is when you try to place your cursor at the beginning of an existing line, that entire bar highlights and hides both the text box and the above comment if you click.

So to place your cursor at the beginning of an existing line, you have to put it after the first character and use the arrow key to jump to the left. If the first character is wide, clicking on the left side of it can work, but that's impossible with a character like an "l".

Looks like this. Maybe this text edit box can be moved slightly to the right?
