Arguments against auto-subscribing all new users to all subs

Agreed - there's also a earlier post suggesting the same thing

Right now there is very little distinction between /s/subscribed and /s/all. Like you said /s/subscribed really turns into [/s/all minus unsubscribed subs] and that's very confusing.
