tried refreshing. maybe a restart in general in necessary.

Definitely. While you're around, I was casually wondering if that server was connectable from any regular client, like irssi.

Nope, there's no external access or other clients allowed. I'm into it if there's enough demand. We've hesitated because it likely entails standing up another server. And maybe we should be using Matrix anyway.
