Besides censoring and power tripping bullies, what else is problematic about powermods?

I don't know why categorizing things is bad. I know this is the system that exists so far but as far as organizing and search ability for specific information (issues aside) Steemit strikes a pretty good balance with categories and 5 metatags, though many would like more tags, myself included.

Because a mod controls the flow of information. So if someone is modding tons and tons of subs, they can control a ton of the flow of information (including deleting a ton of stuff). This is one of the major problems reddit had. Just accept the fact that things won't be perfectly organized, because they were never intended to be. Hiding things on tiny subs just guarantees the information will get lost, so it's not benefitical if your purpose is to get the most people to see it.

We'll develop the crossposting system. Please just relax about it in the meantime.

Hiding things on tiny subs

Really?

Hiding things in a morass of chaos is the opposite.

My purpose is to make it accessible and useful, like most people. I don't think anyone intends to make a "tiny sub" that's never looked at, but honestly I'd rather have a quality tiny sub that is about that topic for people to find than have them aimlessly wander over generalized topics.

If there were more tiny subs then there'd also be less centralized pooling and the powermod thing issue might also be diminished.

But I'm not a Redditor, so what do I know. I have however, gleaned there's a balance between being too specific and too general and it's not always as obvious as you'd think.

I'm relaxed, though now I'm obviously a conspirator. Openly. If that's frowned upon too I can withdraw my friendly proposal to Greedeater.

One way you could shut me up, for a little while, is to keep me busy and let me do banners for /s/censorship, /s/piracy, and maybe some other subs of yours. Pick some for me. Throw in some ideas, collaborate, or just let me surprise you. If you like them or don't lemme know how I can improve them. I aim to please. If you like my (not quite finished) CSS you/I/we can add it or you can make me co-mod for a short while. After I'm done applying my graffiti you can un-co-mod me. Being mod is not in my field of interests.

Chaos is having tons of duplicate posts in the /new tab that look like spam, tbh. Just look at the page and how all the duplicates and triplicates make it look

That's what I thought back when I asked you about it.
