cool. on a siilar note, can the mods also see which users are reporting some posts as spam or whatever. i had a few false reports recently.

The reporting is intentionally anonymous, probably to remove moderator bias when making the spam or not decision. But yeah if reporting is being abused then there would be value in being able to know who is abusing it. Maybe mods just need a 'report reporting abuse to admins' link.

thats also a good way to go about it

I know that I have minor moderator bias (I'm getting better!) if I can see who's reporting stuff, so this is probably for the best.

Not a terrible idea, /u/d3rr do you like this idea?

I donno, it opens the door to mod retaliation for an "invalid" report, but it is more transparency. If mods started banning for invalid reports that'd be a problem.

Good point

I'm all for more transparency.

Do it in the open and let all the perverts watch.
