Nice article so far!

Awesome SaidIt site so far!

Have you heard of anyone adopting your fork with your improvements? Do you expect that to happen? Do your forkings align with the other indie-reddit-forks out there?

Lemme know if there's ever anything you want added, removed, changed, etc.

Lemme know if you want more graphics too. I know it may seem painfully tedious but that's how it goes to get it right.

Nope, no one else is using our fork or Reddit open source at all, aside from https://notabug.io using the Reddit open source frontend bits.

There were some other Reddit open source sites back in the day before we started, but they're all gone afaik.

"Gone"? Like deleted? Or abandoned?

I knew a little about Notabug.io from what you've mentioned. Do you ever collaborate with them?

Gone like abandoned. No, we don't really collaborate with anyone. We're all off on our own code bases.

Thanks, the pipeline is kind of overflowing so we've been pushing out a lot of stuff lately, I haven't forgotten about your graphics and we'll probably do a site update with them soon. Just a lot of other stuff that needs doing first that's been in the pipeline for a while. It feels like we have 8 sub-projects that are at about 80% completion right now, so we're wrapping some of those up so I can properly focus. The no self-voting rule change was the big one.

Wednesday 2017-10-11, at 09:43:20 UTC is SaidIt's first post aka birthday. Maybe on 2019-04-11 on your 1.5 birthday?

Lemme know if you want any more design ideas.

On the DecentralizeAllThings CSS I have a small To Do List that I'd like to figure out before submitting it for folks feedback as a proposed upgrade to the site-wide design. My main goal is readability and ergonomics. The colours serve clear distinct functions, but may need to be dialed back a bit if folks don't like them.

Did you code an implementation to regulate self-voting?

Care to share a SaidIt road map of future plans? Maybe on https://saidit.net/s/SaidIt/wiki/index - sort of like: https://saidit.net/s/ElectionsUSA2020/wiki/index

Also, I know it's a grind, but on the upside... it seems to be a success.

It's in the works. I don't think we want to share any more details of the roadmap than we have, basically we're moving toward the crypto stuff and the decentralized stuff and fixing the site up more and making an iphone app. That's pretty much the bird's-eye roadmap right now, we're figuring out the details as we go.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the scoops. Good to keep the cards close. I'm not just personally interested, I'm part of the evil press. So evil few read it.
