I use DLG. It can download entire channels and directories. Unfortunately it's all in one go, so if it's stopped or interrupted part way you'll need to start over. Fortunately it recognizes when it has a complete or partial download and will skip the complete ones and continue the partials. It can go for days, but you also have to watch your drive space when low. If you have a long list and your power goes out, your list is gone forever.

I also like that it will download the largest thumbnail "maxres" and the largest video and the audio channel if you set it to. Unfortunately I don't know how to set it to delete its large temp files, so I have to manually clean those up. I usually delete the isolated audio if it's not music or an audio podcast anyway.

In my dreams everyone would be able to afford a server of their own, ready out of the box to join the decentralized permanent web - and in SaidIt we'd have a 3rd "archive" button that everyone could click on to scrape and download the articles and media they liked to be eternally archived and shared forever - and somehow folks could be sustainably rewarded for their original content and curation efforts.
