Another suggestion is to browse the "new" tab to get the freshest content, and upvote good stuff early. This helps interesting content make it to the top of the front page.

Plus, if you browse SaidIt enough that it's hard to find new content, it allows for you to take in everything.

That will change as it grows - and as dedicated posters post good contetnt. It can eventually contain the same quality information places like Reddit have - but without all the fluff and trash (and farming).
