Is soundsituation a pedophile, or possibly in league with Ghislaine Maxwell and Hillary? I can only assume so given her moderation log. I think we have Saidit Pizzagate situation on our hands. Where are the all the patriots at? Why do you guys support these Pedos saiditors?

I like yogurt. And brogurt, and gogurt, and yumgurt, and guygurt, and girlgurt. Keep em all coming. I'll comment on all of them. Any gurt. Give me more gurt.

Seriously though, it doesn't make a lot of sense when you read the rules. Your point is valid. For the record, nothing should be banned, let the users sort it out. Yogurt or pedos.

I'm not for curated moderation either.

I mean... the user who posted that is getting torn apart in the comments. Not censoring some pedo's opinion so every gets a chance to point and laugh at the pedo isn't support of that opinion

The problem is the moderator is removing other content that isn't against the site policies, but approving content that clearly is. Soundsituation is not following the moderation guidelines, is not fit to moderate the content on this site and needs to be removed

I agree with you, there was a post in /s/tumblrinaction that got removed due to it having slurs in the title but literal pedo advocacy is allowed on the site. It was the exact same admin.

is soundsituation a new mod? Assuming this site was initially independent and not some government op, the alphabet letters eventually make their way to every social media platform. It's only a matter of time for saidit

[–]Vulptex 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (6 children)

No, soundsituation has been has been here for many months already. And no, there's no government op.

[–]Insider 5 insightful - 5 fun5 insightful - 4 fun6 insightful - 5 fun -  (5 children)

no government op, but lots of government actors here like jet199 and site_rly_sux

[–]Vulptex 3 insightful - 4 fun3 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 4 fun -  (4 children)

What makes you think jet199 is a government actor?

[–]jet199 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun -  (1 child)

Likely because I just come across as so fucking professional and superior.

[–]Markimus 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

How would you be working as a fed then?

[–]Insider 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I give proof of government doing _____ and he replies with denial. No counterpoint, counter argument or counter evidence, just denial. Rinse and repeat.

Also, some Eglin Air Force Base astroturfs use usernames related to their profession.

How do you expect someone to prove a negative?

[–]Gaslov 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

The yogurt guy was spamming gay innuendo.

[–]Cass 5 insightful - 6 fun5 insightful - 5 fun6 insightful - 6 fun -  (7 children)

That guy's both retarded and a pedo but if holocaust deniers can speak freely here, pedos should too.

It's true. This is why there are so few Jews and their numbers go down every year.

    [–]SMCAB 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

Sorry it can only be 6 million. You can do the six million over and over again to achieve billions and trillions, but it can only be 6 million at a time. You know this.

    [–]Cass 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yeah, I do think freedom of speech should be allowed to everybody equally. Doesn't mean I believe they should receive support, or that they should be protected from people who disagree with them etc

    [–][deleted] 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Look at all the posts Soundsituation removed from yogurt and brogurt. Those users couldnt speak freely and they werent breaking saidit policyat all

    [–]LarrySwinger2 3 insightful - 5 fun3 insightful - 4 fun4 insightful - 5 fun -  (0 children)

    Stop shitposting.

    [–]SloppyJoeBeaver 4 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

I feel like I should have said this sooner, but I like and respect u/soundsituation, and I understand everyone here doesn't always agree on moderation, but moderation is a shitty job anyways and I think maybe we could just talk about it more civilly. This whole thing seems more personal than it needs to be.

Although on the other hand, as I just said on a previous comment, saidit interpersonal drama is so entertaining.

    [–]Vulptex 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun -  (9 children)

I'm guessing his thought process was along the lines of "Well he thinks the age of consent should be lowered, but he never actually sexualized minors." But if he wasn't sure he should've asked the site owner (u/magnora7), probably the only one who should be making such dangerous calls.

Also, the approval could've been an accident. I do that sometimes. The approve button doesn't have any confirmation, so it's very easy to hit by accident, especially on mobile, and there's no way to undo it. Anyone who's been a mod here or on reddit will probably tell you the same thing. I've actually wondered if reddit set it up that way on purpose so they can "catch" mods approving the wrong posts, and then use that as an excuse to ban them or the entire subreddit.

      lol

      [–][deleted] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

It's not a grey area you fucking asshole

      Also no sexualization of children.

      [–]Vulptex 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

The question is whether merely saying the AOC should be lowered is actually sexualizing children, and there's a case to be made for both conclusions.

      [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

      fuck you

      [–][deleted] 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

So this was a gray area, but all the posts about yogurt and penises definitely needed to be banned? Funny I don't see that in the rules, and amazing how soundsituation can be so gungho on enforcing bullshit that she never accidentally approves any of those posts. But posts explicitly advocating for child fucking get a pass. Great modding.

On the other hand, I've never had a problem with your moderation

      [–]FuckYourOpinion 4 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

I think we need to open a discussion on whether it is "gray" or "grey".

      [–]Vulptex 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I tend to stick to mostly cut and dry stuff like spam (which there's a surprising amount of for such a small website). If there's any doubt, I err on the side of not removing it and ask magnora7 if necessary.

      [–]LordoftheFlies 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Well, yogurt is clearly triggering to people who are lactose intolerant.

      [–]IMissPorn 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Sometimes spam is the biggest crime of all, whether that's spam in the commercial message sense, or just useless junk that drowns out interesting content. I would rather see stupid and controversial opinions, than 'gurt and bitcoin scams.

It does seem you are correct that "no spam" isn't officially in the site rules though. Maybe it seemed too obvious to mention, but I'd say it should probably be in there just to be clear about it.

FOSTA/SESTA removes 230 protections for sites that contribute to sex trafficking. I don't like censorship. However, saidit.net HAS to continue to delete things that may help sex trafficking or they could be held criminally liable for content posted by 3rd parties.
