Thanks for the nomination socks. I really don't think I'd have the time and I'm a bit short on some of the tech skills. However, I'd certainly be willing to help out in an advisory capacity. Maybe if there was some type of committee or private sub that discussed problems/solutions I could be of service.

Bro. I agree with many of your arguments.

The shills who want to demolish the site would love to misrepresent the evidence based views of the site admins.

I strongly oppose both censorship, and self-censorship.

I also strongly oppose handing our enemies red meat to misrepresent the community.

Please consider editing your moderator flair before becoming an advisor, etc.

That did cross my mind which is another reason I wouldn't really be interested in any type of admin position. I wouldn't want to compromise the site in any way.

Please consider editing your moderator flair before becoming an advisor, etc. No disrespect intended.

Also another reason why I wouldn't really want any type of leadership roll. Any position or duty that makes me tone down my beliefs is not really my cup of tea. I can be tactful in one on one interactions but I'm never going to hide my beliefs. I'm a proud fascist and I'm not ashamed of fascist or National Socialist symbols.

Avoid that like the plague! That's what r/defaultmods is and the beginning of the cabals that destroyed digg, reddit, and then ruqqus. It starts out innocently enough but it never ends well.

You're never going to avoid greasy backroom dealings and all the power getting steered into a couple people's hands. You just need to hope that the people that do run the show don't get 'controlled' or co-opted or killed (like Swartz). Admin needs to have a vision and stick with it. The admin should also fear the community to a degree.
