I assumed that a free speech site would allow a bit of frivolity but it appears that the archetype of the power tripping mod shows up on this site as well. Is there any real need to ban users or remove posts on a subreddit that gets at most one post per week? Most of these subs are deader than the moderators sex lives but they STILL ban you for posting jokes they don't like. What gives? Your jobs at the start of a site is to bring in users and foster conversation not turn the subs you moderate into your personal authoritarian fiefdoms. And I'm not an outlier there are tons of users who agree with me. A website needs to be free form and user driven particularly when it has so few people using it in the first place. Otherwise why wouldn't people just use reddit?
