The Default should just represent the most popular subreddits i think.

How do you measure popularity? Some are much older than others. Some already have the special privilege of access to the front page. Some are popular but not public and some are not allowed to be public for their controversies.

I'd like an s/all and s/all/comments that's genuinely ALL subs. Maybe excepting those that really want to be a private conversation.

Agreed.

Needs a good new term. Libre? Open? Free? AllPlus?

Or maybe current "All" needs a downgrade to make room for the genuine all (except private)?

Subscribed / Most / All ?

I feel like we discussed this a couple years ago.

Easy, number of posts, votes and comments.

What's the magic ratio equation, and how does the sub's age factor in? And who's going to write a script to tally all this up?

What if there's an important topic that doesn't get a lot of traffic? ie. /s/Fulfillment and /s/WellBeing are new and /s/Cooperatives and /s/FLOSS I have sadly neglected, but IMO it's critical. Obviously I created those but there are many others like them by others that could and should also be included.

I would have thought daily hits or something like that or maybe total subs.
