Nice. I disagreed with TAM's decision but the attacks on her were just abhorrent. However, to scour past PMs to dig up dirt and try to frame JC is a bit malicious and not proper admin behaviour. As for the allegations, I'm not going to go there but I don't believe any crime has been committed.

Perhaps in a not-so-distant future when everything has been censored and purged from the Web, we'll reminisce about the old Saidit, smile and shed a gin-soaked tear thinking about those past shit storms and how good we had it. Maybe.

Saying saidit is a goner as admin is defeatist shill rhetoric. There is no way TAM wasn't part of some operation and if he/she wasn't, she sure made he/she seem like she was.

I reminisce about the old Saidit right now. Was me, M7, and roughly two or three other accounts. It was antiextremes.com back then, and pretty quiet as a brand new site.

By the way, TAM is a teenage male pretending to be a girl... Calling him a her just feeds into his delusions.

His attacks on Saidit seem typical of that kind of person. As an admin, he compiled a list of TOS violations of the host company, and published them with links on saidit. He even claimed the violations were actual felonies, and mused about contacting the FBI to investigate saidit users he disliked. This was less than a day before the first recent outage... Was it really a card issue, or did the host take TAMs claims as an admin seriously?

That's just one incident. There have been many others. Aside from fetishing the PoD, making a teenage tranny an admin was possibly one of M7s worst decisions.

I know TAM is transgendered. I do have issues with MSM pushing transgenderism down our throats and forcing acceptance. If people are uncomfortable with transsexuals, so be it. You can't force people to change their values but you also have to let people live their lives on their own terms as long as they're not harming other people.

If he/she wants to be referred as "she" I don't really care delusion or not. Is it a mental illness? A hormonal imbalance? I don't know. Why do some people prefer people from the same sex? I don't know either. As long as they're not pushing their agenda or breaking my balls I will be accepting. The LGBT movement needs to come to terms with the fact that not everyone approves and that acceptance cannot be forced.

That aside, the timing of those outages is a little fishy and I wouldn't put it past TAM that she would report "spicy" content to the authorities or the web hosting company. Needless to say, the recent drama has made me reconsider my stance on TAM.

as long as they're not harming other people.

Agreed, which is why trannies need to go.

Why do some people prefer people from the same sex?

Because they're malfunctioning. I'll just leave it at that in honor of saidit being back again.

This all started with "just let them do whatever in the privacy of their own bedroom", but the illness inevitably spreads and increases to the point that they now have prominent adults enthusiastically and publicly mutilating children's genitals. This is a feature of faggots and trannies, not a bug.

It was antiextremes.com back then

I think Saidit would gain users and activity if this would develop again, at least in some form. It's also perhaps one of the reasons M7 took /s/DebateTheRight NeoNazis off /s/all (He also took /s/ShitpostNews off /s/all .)

If I may support TAM for a moment:

Regarding TAM's identity: it's not up to you to decide what it is.

Regarding TAM's work as an admin: it was difficult, time-consuming, thankless, shitty, hard work, and admin decisions are sometimes unpopular, but they were for the purpose - in every case - of addressing Saidit's very basic, simple, rules, so that those who abided by them would remain, while she tried to reduce some of the chaos.

/s/DebateTheRight NeoNazis

This is so ludicrous that it's like you're trying to undermine anyone who criticizes Nazis..

You're right about TAM's identity. It's up to reality to decide what it is. Having a penis makes you a male. Having a vagina makes you a female.

Anyway, I think TAM and company have largely succeeded with their plans for saidit.

This is so ludicrous that it's like you're trying to undermine anyone who criticizes Nazis.

Not happening.

You're right about TAM's identity. It's up to reality to decide what it is.

It's their life, not ours. (And why should anyone give a damn about the private lives of others. We're not living in a reality TV similation.)

Anyway, I think TAM and company have largely succeeded with their plans for saidit.

Why do so many on Saidit LOVE to select hidden causes or conspiracies for relatively obvious events (and I like conspiracy studies, if there is sufficient reliable evidence)? Anyone following their approaches (including M7, D3 and Fred) knew very well that they were genuinely devoted to supporting Saidit, at great expense. That said, I wonder if they know that most right-wing folks will never accept them for who they want to be. What annoys me the most - as a writer - is the use of they/them for singlular pronouns. Really pisses me off. Young whippersnappers changing hundreds of years of language. Who do they think they are? Really.

"What annoys me the most - as a writer - is the use of they/them for singlular pronouns. Really pisses me off. Young whippersnappers changing hundreds of years of language. Who do they think they are? Really."

Do you not see the irony in this, socks? You are defending a man calling himself a woman, then act like a language purist on the "they/them" issue.

I mean...do you just not see the irony?

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Sorry - not really.

I occasionally joke about the rapidly changing usage of language today, but I'd be the first to argue that language has always evolved.

For reasons similar to supporting a "free speech" website (that's nonetheless overrun with only one kind of speech), I also support the freedoms of others to follow their own path, and that they too could "say their truth" on Saidit. If they are not causing harm - to children, for example - I think it's none of our business how they run their lives, any more than it's my business how you run your life. Yes, I agree that there are problems whereby these unusual people occasionally try to influence others, and I would agree that this is wrong, as it runs counter to the reason for tolerating these unusual people in the first place.

[–]Node 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Not happening.

It's almost happening, imo. Exaggerated criticisms to the point of ludicrousness break their credibility, and can call related criticisms into question. "Hmm, maybe some of those other claims are false too?" Of course, that will only happen among those who favor cognition over dogma.

why should anyone give a damn about the private lives of others.

Because humans are a social creature, and most of us participate in society. Those who go out of their way to corrupt or damage our society (faggots, trannies, pedophiles, etc.) need the same kind of attention a T-cell pays to invading disease vectors in the human body.

I like conspiracy studies, if there is sufficient reliable evidence

You'd have to watch TAMs account, because he deletes the evidence on a regular basis. But you've undoubted seen a number of his attacks on saidit users from his position as an admin...

I don't care if he wishes he weren't destroying saidit. That is what he's doing when he drives users off the site in the name of saidit. I think it's related to his level of insanity that causes him to pretend to be a girl.

But to be fair, perhaps we should congratulate him for at least sticking to the human species? He hasn't had hooves made for his hands and a goat suit made so he can eat grass on mountain hillsides with the native fauna. Afaik, he also doesn't believe he's a member of the deer species, who just happens to be able to speak English and work in the tech field.

Perhaps I would have retained some sympathy for that creature if he hadn't made all those false claims about me, and threatened to "report me to the FBI"? But he went ahead and revealed his true character, and that's something you don't just forget.

I see your points, and I understand how anyone who fought with TAM might also be quite upset.

Not to drag out the conversation, though as a historian, I think I can confirm that cosmopolitan societies, where different kinds of people have mixed for millennia, for the purposes of trade, secure settlement, and generally for economic and social benefits, have also been remarkably tolerant of the "melting pot" of very different religions, customs, classes, economic backgrounds, and - in many cases - sexual preferences. The periods when these cosmopolitan regions developed resulted in some of the most innovative, interesting, solutions for a better quality of life for people. Fundamental to what works in the cosmopolis is: tolerance, relative freedom speech, relatve freedom to choose of one's way of life, and some opportunities for upward social mobility. Not that this has worked perfectly, but all of this is why I see your point about society as a good argument for the acceptance of same-sex couples, or those who identify as the opposite of their sex at birth. Of course, no one should agree with pedophiles, for reasons that are perhaps part of a very different discussion. There is unfortunately a long, continuous history of pedophelia, some of which includes tolerance for pedophiles (which was wrong).

[–]Node 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Not to quibble my day away, but the definition of cosmopolitan is "*including or containing people from many different countries. *". That's why those societies are called 'cosmopolitan'.

What's happening now is an attack on our society by introducing non-compatible elements that are tearing it all down.

There will undoubtedly be humans left after our current society is destroyed, but it's not going to be anything like the people promoting moral corruption are expecting.

I'm not an admin. With the recent outages and M7 missing and unresponsive, it's fair to assume Saidit's future is uncertain. But it's more than suspicious that the attacks on TAM, the allegations against another user and the site going down occur during the same time frame. You and u/node might be right.

[–]Node 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

TAMs attack on me happened less than 12 hours before the first outage in this ongoing series. Not sure what you think I might be right about, but you should put me in the "not a fan of TAM" category.

[–]Optimus85 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

You might be right about TAM going to the web hosting company or authorities with potential "illegal" content on Saidit although there's no way of knowing for sure. Why is the site back up a mere two days after being down? But yeah, Tam has rubbed a lot of users the wrong way.

[–]Node 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I don't know what happened these second two times, but the first time:

TAM linked a number of my comments, claiming they were violent death threats that were against the TOS of the host company, AND illegal federal felonies. (Ex. Trannies should be shot - this is an opinion, not a violent death threat.)

He further claimed in his comment that saidit commonly tolerates violations of the TOS of the host, and doesn't care about illegal death threats being posted. This was posted as an official admin of saidit...

I made a WTF post about it, and the Loki88 guy said he notified the host about the claims/admissions being made by a customer. Saidit was offline before I turned my computer on the next morning.

Hell of a coincidence if that was actually because a card stopped working on that day after 3 years of working fine.

Oh, forgot to mention, he also mused in that comment about calling the FBI to investigate "all the illegal activity that saidit is enabling". If someone at the host company read TAMs admin comment in the link from Loki88, how thrilled do you think they were?

Pepperidge Farms remembers. Opinions should not be misconstrued as facts. Although not everyone is able to make that discernment which is why I always err on the side of caution.
