Leave them. How much worse is their nonsense to [removed] and all they mystery they may contain?

Even better: "[-] collapse" them too. Or colour indicate which accounts have been banned. Scarlett Letter.

When it's 4/5 of all comments on the website, that's not easy to ignore and does a lot of damage.

They have to be removed for this forum not to be taken over and drown out all other voices. Why do you repeatedly advocate for the hijacking of this forum?

This is the kind of information that only an admin has. Carswell isn't wrong in that your management APPEARS more heavy handed and clumsy than it should be, but that is from the point of view of a normal user.

I know you're doing what you feel is the best for the site, but obviously we don't see everything you see and thus, we can't judge your decision process or actions. That's what back seat driving is. Sorry Jason but that's what you are doing.

So while I agree that more openness and accountability would be ideal, there are limits to what can be done. How many hours a day should M7 be coding and how many hours managing/administering? Delegating? Sure, but who wants this job? I'm glad Fred accepted a position and I'm sure his contribution will help a lot, but no system is ever perfect, and things always appear much simpler than they actually are, when you don't have all the information.

the logs suggest that far less is removed than is claimed. I'm not seeing 10 actions per day per sub, and that's minimal admin effort.

Many of us offered to help, and were ignored. This is m7's bed.

Wow if you offered to help and got turned down, then I am just appalled at M7's decision making.

100% BULLSHIT.

You do, though. You've got multiple posts saying I shouldn't remove what the shills post. So you're advocating this forum be hijacked, as well as openly breaking rules and then being upset at me for enforcing the rules instead of apologizing so you can stay with the community.

More demonizing spin. STOP LYING. Is all this bullshit to cover up your own inadequate management?

Let me be 100% clear:

  • I DO want transparency, openness, fairness, accountability, and consistency.
  • I DO want banning the problematic shills, trolls, and bots.
  • I do NOT want censorship at all.
  • I do NOT want SaidIt hijacked.

If you'd get your head out of my ass you'd see this what I've been saying, and nothing more, no matter how you try to spin it.

You should want these too, but all you want is to pathetically attempt to vilify me to ban me instead of discussing solutions. You are transparent when you refuse to be transparent.

Temporarily and intentionally breaking your lame arbitrary rules intentionally targeted at me seems to be the only way to even get your attention. You only expose yourself and apparently your ego driven need for absolute control with your poor leadership and lack of solutions. You are dragging things down by hunting me rather than responding to the legitimate issues.

Instead of this timesuck drama we should be fixing things. If you were a good leader you'd recognize that. It's never too late to come around.

If you want we can have a dramatic showdown in a dedicated post instead of all this side-comments crap. Obviously that's not really good for you, me, or SaidIt.

We could draft up something for /s/SaidItSurveys and ask the community at large to resolve our impasse. Again, not ideal, but at least it would be a step forward.

Or we could be gentlemen and rationally discuss the REAL issues here. But I suspect you won't dare. Either you're a coward who's afraid to admit when he's been wrong this whole time, you don't have the ability to bring the changes necessary and have been hiding behind secrecy all along, or again, maybe your ego won't let you concede any of whatever you think your power is by delegating responsibilities despite maintaining ultimate veto. Maybe all of them, or maybe I'm overlooking another reason or few. But you can't even fucking discuss options.

You will never earn my respect by falsely accusing me of shit and refusing to have a civil discussion about the REAL ISSUES: being fair, open, accountable, and consistent - and dealing with the real trolls. Man up.

You talk about minimizing timesuck drama, but then you write 8 paragraphs about timesuck drama. You so frequently do the opposite of what you say you're doing.

I'm taking the time to try to get through your thick fucking skull. Instead you dodge with this amateur shit.

Oh you mean the same thing you've been doing to me, and to saidit, for months now? You dish it out, but can't take your own medicine?

You want free speech but then when you get it in ways you don't like, you cannot handle it and have another one of your meltdowns?

Wouldn't mind having that great original reddit tool that use to be on every reddit page and in your prefs. ie.. the ability to hide all posts/comments below "0" or any other user chosen vote number.

In my opinion, those were the good old days of the reddit/digg model, but unfortunately I haven't seen any of the competition bringing it back.
