You may consider capitalizing the A in "and" to complete the acronym. STBs.

Maybe add an S word to the end, as well.

I dunno.

Edit: STABS deserves it's own sub.

Also, I'd suggest a banner with a person facing away andwearing a "Saidit" logo shirt who's getting stabbed in the back. Betrayal.

Plus, 75% transparent foreground words (betrayal, traitor, treason, infiltration, etc.); all spelled in red letters and dripping blood.

Or maybe that same character with the shirt in the Caesar senate stabbing scene where the senators are Gates, Faucci, zberg, Soros, etc.

Also, you could replace the "and" in STABs with "Attack", as in Shills, Trolls and Attack Bots, and Saboteurs.
Also maybe "Saboteurs".

/s/JasonCarswell for edits

STAB = Shill, Troll, and Bot or plural: STABs = Shills, Trolls, and Bots

I want the word to stab all the STABs in they eye, figuratively.

You call u/socks a shill though and I'm pretty sure he's not.

[–]JasonCarswell 4 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 3 fun -  (4 children)

Did you even look at the links Tom and I provided? He's most certainly a shill perpetually pretending to be stupid on specific matters.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

Yes and I don't see how that's proof of shilling.

[–]JasonCarswell 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

And the links in my link? There's a distinct pattern, more than just cognitive dissonance. Take note of those examples and you'll see them again and again and again and again and again and again and again. No matter how much information contradicts their stance, they soon forget. AND they're manipulative.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

I just don't see what you do. I looked at the links.

I see I emphatically agreed in that thread, so this is going to sound a little weird. Socks replied to one of my comments in the past couple days with a legitimate reply! You'd never guess it was socks who typed it, but it really was! No shilling, just sentences that appeared to come from a normal user. It was pretty amazing.

[–][deleted] 6 insightful - 2 fun6 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 2 fun -  (32 children)

Ironic, I just wrote "You call u/socks a shill though and I'm pretty sure he's not. " to Jason.

He's just liberal and you guys disagree with him. Hell, I disagree with him a lot but I see where he's coming from.

[–]JasonCarswell 3 insightful - 4 fun3 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 4 fun -  (19 children)

He's 50% insightful and 50% shill. That's part of their shilling charm. Most people on SaidIt are too smart and/or independent to fall for their bullshit.

Edit: And/or skeptical.

IMO, you're smart and seem independent. However, you seem to not be skeptical enough to see the patterns of socks (and Chipit). Tom often seems too skeptical and hasty to call many shills, and rarely provides evidence.

Maybe Tom and I are wrong and he really is just a clever/stupid civilian with profound blind spots, tendencies to revert back to trusting the corporatocracy, and the talent to appear like annoying (and dangerous) agenda driven shills due to too much propaganda brainwashing.

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun -  (16 children)

Socks like opposition, I think that's what you're seeing. He's smart but he's also young. If he was a shill, why would he be here were the majority is unlikely to agree with him.

[–]JasonCarswell 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (15 children)

So you think he's just a glutton for punishment with a penchant for polite troll-esque discussions, like a mere hobby. Tis but a proclivity for an intellectual challenge and a dalliance with debate.

Well, he's not just here for a challenge. He's here propagating dangerous misinformation and propping up the mafia establishment in one of the few places where people can seek-truth, mostly uncensored.

Paid or not, ignorant or not, he's still shilling for the enemy.

I'd hardly call it punishment. Maybe you come away with the same beliefs as you did before, but that doesn't make the other person feel beaten. In most of the conversations I've had on here where there has been disagreement, I certainly didn't feel like I was being beaten down by some superior mind. Just because the other guy didn't agree that CO2 is a potent greenhouse gas, doesn't mean I feel beaten. You just realize after hanging out on here a while that people cling to their beliefs, and it doesn't matter how good of a case you make. I can cite all the science I want, ChristianMusic is still gonna say the earth is 10,000 years old.

Unproductive debates should best be avoided, but when on saidit they're usually mixed in with more interesting conversations, so it's worth staying.

I'm still slogging my way through that post, and just a few minutes ago saw socks doing another of his far-left shills against everything he considers 'Nazi'. It's a laughably ridiculous assortment of things that only share the characteristic of not being far-left.

But at least I'm convinced there's a real person operating the account. The only alternative to him not being a shill is to be someone of very limited intelligence, or to have a mental issue. It's a toss up for me between shill and mental, because I've seen him exhibit intelligence.

Can you explain where he's coming from?

Horrux - what would you want to post that is too extreme for Saidit? I see mainly far-right disinformation, misinformation, propaganda, racism, Nazis, sexism, anti-vax, anarchism, Republicans, hatred, criminals, and occasional informative posts on this site. That's one reason I visit the site (even if I don't agree with much of it, I won't see it elsewhere). I cannot imagine what you're talking about. Are you referencing material that's on Parler, Ruqqus, Win, Gab, 8chan, or 16chan? Really, what's missing here? [Edit: words]

[–][deleted] 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (10 children)

I think I'm the criminal he's referring to. Besides that it seems pretty self explanatory, was there something specific about it?

Hey u/socks, am I the criminal?

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (9 children)

Well... I don't know, Muskrat. One benefit of Saidit is that we can be anonymous (supposedly; though so many responses by users here respond with, something like: "I know what you are! You are a _____!" It's sometimes like dealing with 12-year-olds. I'm here to talk about the content, not the mysterious person behind the curtain.) So, if you are indeed a criminal, I'm not judging you... :-)

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun -  (1 child)

I just thought you might have been referring to me as a criminal. It wasn't a loaded statement. I mean, drugs ain't legal here and I do like my drugs.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yikes - I thought you were joking. (Perhaps I missed something in the thread.)

[–]JasonCarswell 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (6 children)

You're not here to talk about the content.

You're here to advocate your agendas between being insightful and friendly while denouncing Jimmy Dore calling out your fake progressive Democrats like liars AOC and Bernie - and to push pro-vaccine propaganda of the corporatocracy ignoring their message funding, while disingenuously claiming that anti-vaxxers are being funded by malicious forces.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

Who gives a fuck what I or you think, Jason?

Discusss or don't discuss this stuff. It's up to you.

We're not having any impact on anything by discussing topics in Saidit. It's ridiculous to think that it matters who users are on Saidit. It's not what defines us and it's not what's important. It's nice to think about Saidit as a community, which I hope happens more often. It's of course abusive to continually insult that community's users. Doesn't matter who they are. It matters what they do.

[–]JasonCarswell 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (4 children)

Pretending again, saying that our voices don't matter, demotivating - why bother at all?

Gimme a break.
