Saidit's 'free speech' is under attack from the new admin, who is of course a tranny. Check the moderation logs and see individual user posts to see what is being removed and ask yourself "is this level of censorship in line with saidit's rules, or are they serving a personal agenda'.

I appreciate it. Truly though we have nowhere because spammers and trolls destroy every large forum of substance, and so this has to be defended against.

If we stopped deleting the attacks, this forum would be destroyed by disinformation and spam rather quickly. We're talking sometimes hundreds of automated posts a day, in ways that cannot be blocked and instead have to be removed after the fact.

The "obvious spam" is stuff like viagra pill ads, links to download printer drivers, indian ringtone download pages, "find immigration consultants in Austrialia", and things like that. Very obvious spam that literally no one wants.

    Some people just want to make a mess and destroy nice things, unfortunately. They fact they can do it through an internet portal just makes it all that much more easy to get away with. Fortunately saidit has lots of nice people to make up for it :)

    Same for those 'buy regulated drugs with no prescription' posts, but I think TAM said those are okay if they post to their own sub?

    see. this is what i'm saying about your mindset. You've gone all oppositional, for god only knows why (although I suspect it is because of conversations with a certain admin), and so you are taking this personally, instead of just hearing what I have to say.

    I'm not constantly accusing you of being terrible. In fact, I'm generally highly supportive of you. EXCEPT since the storm, when amelia went beserk and you failed to censure in any way at all. Someone you employed fucked things up royally and then you doubled down. But I still didn't accuse you of being terrible but tried very very hard to communicate with you that we have a problem & what the problem is.

    The chaos while you were away was due to amelia. If she wasn't here, it would have been fine. If you let some more people handle spam duties (ones who won't start going beserk), then there'd be even less problem.

    What I'm saying is: You've made a mistake, m7. you can fix it, and many of us will be happy to help, but the first step is acknowledging that you have a problem.

    you can't see the content, though, so i can show you hundreds of [removed] posts and it won't mean anything - there's no indication of what was there.

    but, i'm game. give me a good way to search them and i'll see if i can find the content that was getting zapped a couple of weeks ago. Did you check out the one that this post was about?

    i'll repeat that, since you didn't reply, /u/magnora7 . If you can give me a way to search the mod logs for words. like "antifa", i can find a post that got [removed] that was not spam and was not breaking site rules and had tons of engagment from users

    Horrux - what would you want to post that is too extreme for Saidit? I see mainly far-right disinformation, misinformation, propaganda, racism, Nazis, sexism, anti-vax, anarchism, Republicans, hatred, criminals, and occasional informative posts on this site. That's one reason I visit the site (even if I don't agree with much of it, I won't see it elsewhere). I cannot imagine what you're talking about. Are you referencing material that's on Parler, Ruqqus, Win, Gab, 8chan, or 16chan? Really, what's missing here? [Edit: words]

    Yep, banned for calling out some BS that's happening on here, such as the removal of a post by himself that explains that

    "[removed]" means a mod censor removed the post, and "[deleted]" means the user did.

    He thought it was helpful for users to know this, and actually so do I, but apparently his protesting the removal of this information is what led to him getting banned. I'm sorry but this is looking like the censorship of totalitarianism.
