Great idea!

I landed on an empty sub: /s/avantikajose123456/.

I wonder it this could be added to the footer links - with a couple adjustments:

  • 1st link for random subs
  • 2nd link for random weak subs >5* posts
  • 3rd link for random active subs >30* posts
  • 4th link for random popular subs >100* posts

* Configure numbers as you see fit.

Or perhaps the footer could link to a wiki page with other "SaidIt tips & tricks". I hope you'll make more.

    Both of those subs where made by u/Avantikajose, which is an ad bot. He made a lot of subs, nearly all with advertisements in the sidebar. I'm going to have to do a bit of clean-up lol.

    Edit: turns out he was already banned, but his posts weren't removed, and neither where the ad subs.

    Thanks for all the work you're doing.

    Can you delete* subs? I'd love for M7 to make a new policy: Use it or lose it - all empty subs get deleted after 2 months (or whatever expiry limit is apt, maybe ask the community).

    * Delete means gone, so that someone, perhaps the same person, can come back and make it again with the same name. This may be important. It would suck to have the name nullified and unusable.

    This would be a great start. I could go on, but then it would never end.

    I can technically ban subs, but I'm no supposed to unless they're used as advertisements. I can't actually delete them. Magnora7 can transfer ownership, though.
