Listen, I get the hostility with all this kind of making it almost a crime to be white, its coming from every direction and its infuriating, I understand the anger, I promise I do, but, if we are going to get out of this shit we are currently swimming in you can't go that route. We need to unite as people who can view ourselves as part of humanity and judge someone by their character. Thats not to say you don't defend yourself against attacks, and its not to say you have to like everyone or that you can't feel anger at injustice or anything like that, but, please don't let your hearts become hardened so that it feels good and right to see to it that the world devolves into an eye for an eye situation. I don't know what has happened here, I came here because I despised what reddit had turned into, there desperately needs to be a platform that allows differing opinions. There has to be somewhere for people to turn that isn't so one sided and closed minded so that people don't want to speak openly because they may be attacked or called names, the slurs-are they necessary? I'm down with the porn thing, and I even support banning someone that tries to interfere with freedom to chose what content others are permitted to see or say, I just think it might be worth trying to squelch a fire with an extinguisher rather than throwing gas on it, ya know?
