All new accounts should be placed into a "quarantined" status

That's a good idea.

until they are removed from quarantined status, all posts must be approved by senior members.

What do you mean by "senior members"?

but you dont even trust your senior members that much, which is pathetic.

Are you saying I don't trust Magnora and d3rr?

first, i have not worked this all out, many of my ideas are off the cuff and flying by the seat of my pants types of ideas..

when a new post is made by a new user that is in quarantine, that post might be automatically shadow banned for two hours or whatever and if in that period of time certain selected users flag that post as spam or as undesirable, then it gets shadow banned for ever.

yes, it is censorship, but for example you must remember the links to how to make $90k per day bullshit.. those links in those posts probably contain viruses and those should be quarantined for the safety of other users.

maybe that bullshit is an attack by one of the other social media networks.

in a nutshell, dont model yourself after any of the other websites... dont try to be the next reddit or facebook... be the best at whatever you do..

do you know, my opinion is that the best system for a united states forum would be one that actually verifies it's users individually and instead of typed messages the posts consist of audio where i can hear the conversation from start to finish.

btw, i almost died last night, my days are literally numbered.. and the numbers dont go very high at this point..

it is nice to make your acquaintance, miss amelia may.

I get that.

That could work. It wouldn't be removed, just in queue. Not sure if that's where the founders wan'o go, but if Mag ever gets around to making another website (which he keeps telling me he wants to do), this would be a good idea to incorporate.

if in that period of time certain selected users flag that post as spam or as undesirable, then it gets shadow banned for ever.

Who would be selected? Admins and mods, regulars, elected officials?

I don't label removing spam as censorship, because spam buries real speech, and is thus the true censorship. It's actually a tactic used by trolls.

dont try to be the next reddit or facebook

I entirely agree with that. We need competition, but we also need innovation.

I think I talked with Magnora about so'm like that; manual verification is a good idea if you don't care about the forum staying small.

and instead of typed messages the posts consist of audio

That's in interesting idea, and someone should definitely do it, but I don't personally like it; talking causes more anxiety.

btw, i almost died last night

What happened? I hope you're okay...

it is nice to make your acquaintance, miss amelia may.

Thank you! Nice to meet'yo too, specialsauces!
