The lightbulb should get brighter with clicks and the smiley face should get smilier with clicks to reinforce the proper meaning of these buttons

We already did that 2 years ago. It's officially "fun" not funny. It used to be "funny" though but we changed it for the reasons you said. Sometimes there are fun things that aren't funny (like music, or neat pictures)

    I'm petitioning to change it to remove the N because FUN will trigger some people who can't run marathons.
