For now. Voat also didn't die immediately but became irrelevant long before its death due to bad policies Saidit seems to emulate.

Reddit has crazy admins, Voat had crazy users. Democratic tyranny is still tyranny. Saidit has complicated rules incompatible with growth, and is easy to kill.

A monarchy, a democracy and a theocracy constitutional monarchy. All rather different.

Reddit now has crazy users as well, since all reasonable users were chased away. Most of Reddit user base are left wing nutcases now.

Saidit's audience is also full of right wing morons, kinda like Voat. Half of these morons who attack me for being a "pedophile" because I am attracted to teen and pubescent girls probably believe that their local pizza stores house pedophile rings.
