I am not against protections for kids necessarily, but kids are already protected from things like rape, kidnapping or assault just like adults are. Claiming that they're just too dumb to consent and are somehow retroactively "victims" in completely voluntary and happy relationships is wrong.

Who has the time or inclination or fairness to moderate properly? And who's to judge what's fair?

I really don't know, but if rude comments below the pictures of teen girls are your main problem that's not much of a problem. One can just choose to grow a skin and not read them.

Yes, maybe. Maybe not having comments would be the best idea. But the issue aren't comments to such pics... the issue is how anti-free speech and unreasonable the right is. It's as bad as left.
