It's not a straw man because not everyone who opposes low quality and far-right content is a leftist, nor are all leftists are extreme, twats, or ignorant of the far-right.

Everyone fucking knows the SJWs and BLM are the insane extremist of the corporate Democrat Left™.

Everyone fucking knows the cancer of Reddit is their corporate Democrat Left™ echo chamber.

Everyone fucking knows the progressive left has been infiltrated and disenfranchised, like the right.

There are distinctions among the left and center and others outside your echo chamber.

A straw man is when you put words into someone else's mouth. Which is what happened here. Not sure why you are getting angry about it, other than that is your general modus operandi.

That's where the straw man comes in. A bunch of assumptions we made about "what everyone knows", and then I was represented as believing this set of assumptions, and was then attacked based on the assumptions that had been projected onto my voice.

What's the point of having other human beings to talk to, if you won't let them have their own voice?
