Ruqqus isn't any more extreme than saidit. If anything, I kind of think ruqqus is a tiny bit closer to the mainstream side of things culturally speaking. Voat was co-opted a long time ago by the same government people who co-opted american militias in the 80's-90's and pretended to be racist fags.

I'd have to disagree. I avoid Ruqqus and Voat because they're havens for extremists and racists. The content is offensive to me. I don't want to read right wing radical's posts.

Ummm... yeah. That's the sort of stupid shit I don't want to read tbh.

You need to surround yourself with a better class of online people if you think that true. Hardly a day goes by I don't have kind and well meaning exchanges with good and decent friends I've met online. I've exchanged birthday and Christmas presents with them, had--hell, have them talk me through tough times when nobody else was there.

You're really missing out if you think the entire internet is a cesspit like voat and ruqqus.

In the dirt you sometimes find gems and gold nuggets, but you also sometimes find squirrel poop.
