Actual Solution: Site-wide mods need to be more(i.e. to moderate s/all and to moderate the default subs)

need less mods actually cuz power always corrupts, best to just let community decide what is bad or not

Depending on "global mod" governance and "authority" is weak and makes us children.

We all need to be our own police our own community, regardless of and/or in addition to the mods and admins. Especially when this place is not corporate funded and free of ads.

We all need to contribute in what ways we can. This may mean coming up with alternative solutions.

What if, instead, we make magnora a dictator(as in benevolent dictator), and make magnora chose global mods. Also, it would be even better if Saidit required global mods to write a message as to why a post got removed/user got banned, that would make the perfect hierarchy, with both strong authority and transparency regarding bans/removals

We don't need global mods, but a trusted counsel would be good. Several times I've recommended that M7 pick a trusted counsel to take on some of the burden, including collectively determining who's misbehaving poorly enough they need to go, then presenting the proof and verdict to him. This not only frees up his time and energy but it also diffuses the "dictator" aspect. His failure to do so leaves me wondering whether he's a masochist, a megalomaniac, or he feels no one on SaidIt is worthy of his trust. Unless there's already a secret SaidIt Force.
