If it is repealed you or saidit can be held liable for damages caused by any words you type. The exact opposite of free speech.

No, actually. If section 230 is repealed, big tech will have to answer for censorship. If its repealed, and reddit continues 'moderating'(i.e. censoring) content, then reddit will be labeled as a publisher. A publisher is responsible for every statement present on its website.

On the other hand, if reddit allows free speech, then it will be labeled as a 'platform', a place responsible for upholding free speech and opinions from everyone, not just neolibs.

IMO, repealing 230 is the first good decision that has been taken in regard to the internet by the US govt

Also, no saidit will not be affected because:

  • It doesn't censor
  • It doesn't have downvote buttons
