I'm sad to hear this even though I never frequented IP2. Now, I wonder if the spam on the front page has anything to do with this?

Yes it most definitely does have to do with it, someone with way too much time on their hands is throwing a hissyfit

That's the arsehole people should be mad at, not you. You are in a tricky position trying to find a fair balance, and you've done a great job straddling that crazy tightrope.

IP2 people can still create their own old-school BB or whatnot and carry on calling each other faggot to their hearts' content. Yes, I agree that it sucks that servers are policing content, but we are in strange times, and there exist work-arounds for IP2 if they are committed to continuing to communicate in that way.
