Why isn't the "send replies to my inbox" option not a one click question in preferences rather than something we need to deal with and click every time we make a submission?

I think it's because mostly people do want that enabled and only certain posts (I would consider a funny dump, maybe music) disabled.

I'm curious, why wouldn't you want the replies (Or does it somehow not auto enable with you?)

OP we still have your feature request for this on our list if that makes you feel any better. It does seem reasonable and useful.

Aand it's fixed. Now the checkbox will remember to stay unchecked if that's your preference.
