No ads, I like giving people gold, and there was a time that I liked Reddit. It's really not much different than the people who buy stuff in video games. Reddit was my main source of entertainment, and the few bucks a month I spent there didn't exactly break my entertainment budget. I'm donating to Saidit because I want this site to be successful.

Donating to SaidIt in hopes that it will grow the platform is understandable but, more than likely futile.

The rest just sounds stupid as fuck.

I mean, if you want to willingly throw your money into a virtual fireplace, be my guest. I'm just saying it's retarded and there's much better causes that that money could go towards.
