No regrets here, Saidit is much more interesting. It can be uncomfortable and challenging but it never fails to be engaging, sometimes alarming so

It's weird opening my browser and not habitually typing reddit.com now. I used that site for hours almost every day for the last 12 years. Even days I didn't, I still had some subs I'd check up on throughout the day on my phone. I just hope something like saidit can take off for topics not related to politics or the reddit purge. I don't mind talking about that stuff, but there're a lot of miscellaneous subjects I used reddit for, but they've upped their ban evasion tools to basically need at least a VPN to use it. At least I assume, since I was ban evading some subs for years with many accounts, and over the course of a week, every single account I've ever had, including ones I never posted from, or hadn't in years, got permanently suspended. Same with some people I know who I don't think even were ban evading.
