If you advocate violence, you get removed.

If you repeatedly drag the quality of discussion down the pyramid of debate you can get removed.

That's really all there is to it. Just do your best!

You are advocating violence against speech.... I am being serious.

vi•o•lence

n.

Behavior or treatment in which physical force is exerted for the purpose of causing damage or injury.

Can you state how physical force can be used to injure a non-living, non-physical thing, i.e. a concept?

Speech is a physical thing. Removing it causes damage. Would you like me to remove you or your property?

So, a post that's just name calling wouldn't get removed, just because it started with name calling?

Yes correct for the most part, and that's for example the whole reason IP2 is allowed to exist (but also why it's not allowed on /all)

You also mentioned "opposing opinions that are high on the pyramid of debate" in your moderation policy. How high do they have to be to be considered high enough to not be removed?

Edit: What is "IP2"?

/s/ice_poseidon2. A group originally formed on reddit to protest/counter the main subreddit of the former twitch, then YouTube, then mixer, then youtube again livestreamer Ice Poseidon. Everyone there were 'fans' who grew to resent him because of a percieved decline in quality and personality. They thought he was censoring dissent because he controlled his main subreddit, so they basically made their own group dedicated to hating him. Both subreddits got quarantined then banned due to the fanbase toxicity, but only the hate subreddit successfully migrated here, where it now stands as a strange monument to loving and/or hating various things about him, streamers formerly associated with him, and the significant counterculture they've created as a result of their obsession.

Again, it's a relative thing. If someone is repeatedly dragging discussion down the pyramid of debate relative to the other comments in the sub, then they can be removed by the mods. So the sub rules are the same as the site rules.

What if they only kept dragging down discussion from the highest level to the second highest level? Also, what is "IP2"?

The exact details like that are up to the discretion of the moderator. IP2 is a sub. Welcome to saidit
