We've had a DDOS attack 6 of the last 7 nights... but the last 3 weren't even noticeable because our new anti-DDOS software is defending us so well

Oh wow. Thanks for the info. That sucks. We gave them our script that would help prevent it, but I don't think they were able to use it unfortunately.

There's a lot of DDOSing going around right now, it's pretty out of control tbh. It's gone from being an occasional fringe issue to a central concern in just a matter of weeks, and it sounds like ruqqus is having the same thing happen to them. I wonder how wide-spread this thing really is

Hm looks like ruqqus is up now.

They're not public at the moment but they will be eventually part of the open source for saidit, so anyone can make their own site and defend it from ddos.

Partly up at the moment. It's been on life support all day. Mostly down this morning (I'm in UK time).
