My first introduction to this OP user was a surprisingly hostile, ad-hominem comment out of the blue to an otherwise positive post. I thought maybe I'd done something wrong but I didn't think so anymore after looking at the other sorts of comments this user had made. And I thought it was not consistent with SaidIt's stated policies that this sort of behavior was tolerated on the site, not only by the admins but also by the community SaidIt admins have chosen to cultivate here, that ostensibly is excited about the stated ambitions of for what the site can become.

This sort of behavior has been consistent. No, it's not every comment, but it's been consistent over a period of time and it's never been addressed publicly, leaving the site culture negatively affected.
