The advertiser-friendliness takeover of reddit just took yet another step forward. The day the redesign isn't optional will be the big one.

I don't see it happening. It might get buried a little deeper, but I trust them to at least leave old.reddit around. i.reddit.com is still around and it doesn't even have ads AFAIK.

It's possible. But I think the advertisers will eventually demand it. My guess is 4-6 months. I have no idea though, that's just a guess.
