I can see where you're coming from, but personally, I like the downvote system. When a comment is misinformation or the user simply can't behave in public and randomly attacks everyone, he's neither funny nor insightful, and there should be some way to put him down. Without downvotes, you are doomed to become the YouTube comments section.
