IMO Saidit would look nicer if we could create text posts with a thumbnail.

The current version of reddit allows this. I hate 99% of the "new reddit" GUI, but the ability to choose a thumbnail is great.

It's harder to get people interested in a topic when it's just text.

If you have an image URL in your self post, it will use that for the thumbnail. But the idea to be able to choose one from a list is interesting, I'll think about it, thanks
