Why are others permitted, even welcomed, to offer good, bad, and ugly advice (example) while I am not? Why don't you just decline or ignore my suggestions?

I do apologize about my ugly advice. I thought it was a brainstorming session- my bad. Tried to help but did damage instead. Feel free to ban me if I'm too much of a nuisance. I think saidit is fine and not trying to mess it up.

No need to apologize at all!

In my opinion brainstorming is terrific and valuable towards progress, even bad/ugly ideas help because they may be a temporary marker on a previously undeclared issue, important, critical, or just mild, that needs an even better idea and can sometimes be built upon, and/or with a tweak and a twist, turned into a great idea.

Your example just happened to be fresh in mind and easy to find, as well as a couple others I was too lazy to dig back up. Better still was that you had so many, not all good or bad or ugly - a very nice variety. Not just ugly. Far from it.

Like you, I'm not trying to mess it up either. I don't know what his problem with me is and he doesn't want to explain.

M7 is driving this big old bus and all us kids are going, "Arewethereyet? Arewethereyet? Arewethereyet? Arewethereyet? Arewethereyet?" Or maybe better, we're all going, "How about here? Have you been there? What about over there? And back there!" And he's still free to steer as he sees fit. Yet for some reason was isolating me out, insisting I not say anything on a public forum called "SaidIt", not-ironically.

I hold nothing against you, regardless what transpires, and I hope you don't mind that I used your comment as a handy example that had nothing to do with the quality nor content of your ideas. I can remove the reference link if you prefer. It was about him singling me out without clear explanation.

IMO, brainstorming is a valuable resource not all professions have the luxury of. I've worked as an animator, art director, and director on countless TV commercials, music videos, projects, and even an Oscar winning movie. It's not easy being an animation director, and harder IMO to be a live-action director under compressed time limits. The best manage to balance all the variables among strengths and weaknesses, absorb feedback, delegate tasks, define a clear vision, while maintaining a diverse team spirit to produce something amazing. I can only guess that running a forum is akin to that on some levels and even more intense on others.

I might be able to help you with that! You are basically clueless on this stuff and can't seem to wrap your head around some basic aspects of reality in a business environment. Also this won't be a discussion since I'm out after this comment, but I recommend you to take seriously what I am about to say for protection.

Basically, social media is sketchy and its only getting sketchier! It isn't "democracy" as you would like for it to be or envision it to be. Those days are gone. Many factors, actors, behaviors and intentions compile and compete in this virtual space, so things can get pretty darn "political" inside and out. Its like a whose who of a murder crime mystery in a fantasy mansion due to a fog of war in-between most users, and the topics discussed are also extremely cloak and dagger on top of it! So the environment is fairly tense, and everyone can be suspect. Its consternation.

That being said, as an admin. The job is to protect the organization (website) and ward off threats, something that you are not helping with by being so casual about everything on a "public" political forum. You are making yourself a target, inciting needless drama and being generally immature like you are lost. Completely immature in your excessive verbiage about stuff too. You should keep things cut and clear- as oppose to idealistic and immature. Nobody cares about your innermost thoughts on everything. Take a look around. Be an Adult!

But the reason I stuck around on this site is because the site is a cut above the "rest". No down-vote button, instead it is replaced with a "Fun" button. No racist take-overs and calls for violence etc. Its a decent place and I'm sure, the admin wants to protect it as I hope they do! You on the other hand, with your little drama inciting, democracy encouraging, immaturely professing and casually confessing bullshit are creating more headaches for people and you should really stop participating more and take a step back away from this place.

You are gas-lighting and enjoying this political environment or something as a form of "free-expression". It really isn't that. Its private virtual space with rules for conduct. My intention with throwing in those 2 cents earlier was to reinforce that notion and have reminders for the rules around but I'll leave it only with that because its not my site.

I wish the admins the best though, they have a difficult job to handle and you shouldn't be making things harder by failing to listen or support them; which thou art with your immaturity and bullshit professorship. Maybe you are a plant or something to sabotage this place? Who knows?

Anyway, Protip: democracies are about to die. Stand by your leaders if you believe in them.

Thank you for offering me a hand. No thank you for slapping me in the face with the other as you do so.

Maybe you think you're helping, but that's not the spirit of your response. Worse, you make a lot of blanket assumptions and statements that aren't entirely accurate. Granted, there are actually a lot of helpful cues too - possibly more than I've gotten from anyone else.

If you wish I can break it down for you, as clearly as I can as I see it, but later, after things have cooled down a while. There is value here, buried behind the backhand.
