Good guys vs bad guys. Aside from asstrolls, most people don't think they're bad when they are, if you can even call some things bad. They're blind or limited to how else they might be perceived. Some people, like incels, don't want to see things in other ways. My Mom doesn't buy 9-11 but won't go deeper with me on anything else.

I suspect there were conflicting ideas in Snow's head, maybe even a few mischievous shit disturbing demons, like anyone, but I suspect Snow honestly meant well and performed poorly. Call me devil's advocate if you like, I prefer skeptic on all things.

"It's not that simple at all." Contrarily I could say, Snow just basically was here to do good and by deleting everything indicated that her feelings were hurt and this bully community doesn't deserve her hard work. Is that true? Who knows.

This gang-up-on-someone culture only tarnishes SaidIt's aims of maintaining elevated discourse. This post was interesting, funny even, and that was one thing. You never know what's going to blow up and what's going to be ignored. But when it becomes a dog pile in the comments it's no longer a whimsical lesson for Snow, pointing out example after example - it's a slaughter. Maybe Tiwaking wanted to butcher Snow, but the tone of the post is a spanking. I've had an example or two of posts trying to teach, and having the whole thing blow up on me with a mob.

IMO, magnora7 took it too far with " Stop lying. " Everyone's honesty is flexible to a degree. Little white lies, etc. No one likes to be called a liar, even if they're caught in one. I didn't see any lying and I know magnora7 has gone overboard in the past. I also know he's got a hellova lot on his plate and bringing discipline to this unruly mob must be no easy feat. On top of that Snow was a legitimate disruptive problem on witch hunts for illusory phantoms, and moderating poorly. I don't know if Snow was actually attacking SaidIt or if that's magnora7 being hyperbolic again at his wits end with another poor choice of a few words, though abstractly direct and to the point well enough.

In short, none of this proves Snow was malevolent. It only illustrates that some of Snow's interactions were disagreeable and disruptive, and IMO immature and impulsive.

Maybe Snow is a 15 year old. Maybe Snow is 35 with autism. Maybe Snow is 55 with half a landmine permanently embedded in her skull. I don't know. Ultimately, because I didn't see direct attacks (doesn't mean they don't exist), I prefer to try to respond with compassion when I'm consciously able. Maybe I'm an idiot too.
