There is no bulk delete, but there are many tools meant for reddit that will work here as well.

They're talking about deactivation, which does not delete posts and comments. Full real deletion sounds like a good feature that we should add though.

we don't retain user data after the user deletes it, that's our site policy for people's protection.

so it's actually "you can't delete user data"?

we can't, but you can with a script.

yeah did it on reddit before, gotta copy and paste a code, it takes awhile if you have thousands of posts

The crux of the statement is we're not gonna make direct database edits if at all possible.
