Reddit now has "crowd control"... LMAO Mods can now deliberately collapse comments they don't like, or if you're not subbed, or if you are new to the sub, etc. Just making it easier and easier to leave Reddit for good.

It's like they had a bucket of bad ideas and every week the decide to pull out and implement a new one.

If something seems dumb you might just not get it. I imagine there are some metrics they are aiming for that improve with these measures. Imagine they want more accounts. By banning people who make new accounts, they get more accounts and it pleases the metrics. I can't tell if this is to please stakeholders or if they are big enough to corrupt/sway and entire generation into clown world. I don't know what they want, but what they are doing is working for their goals. Just no idea what the goals are or why.

Aaha this really pisses me off. I use Reddit in a pathological way, creating new account just to rant and immediately log off to never see it again. I know my comments were getting AutoMod deleted, to me that was ideal, I don't want to interact I just wanted to rant.

Now it just "403" errors me. I can't even rant to the void anymore. Damn you reddit.
