My sub already has 2!!! voting threads, so my runner up is /s/USAmerica/ (and the same styled subs, but this one had the best banner IIRC).

Thanks. That was only supposed to be a temporary banner. I have a whole folder of images I was going to try to include - not all negative about Murica - for good/light and bad/dark themes.

And now all my CSS are broken. It's hard to get motivated to fix them or do anything for SaidIt with the unjust threat of banishment looming over your head. Of course no one will know about that as long as /s/HolocaustSkepticism remains censored.

I'll fix that sub. Disabling like that is against our rules now. I'll have to do that t later on a desktop.

That "skeptic" title would have been better than the pejorative /s/Holohoax.

I don't know how to disable/enable subs. I'm guessing that might be something common on Reddit? Was there a discussion and/or abuses of it to force the rule? Link(s)?

You can make a sub private and that's about it. I think this rule came about from the drama from last time you were here, it's now part of the mod rules.. which are freaking buried and hard to find. Ugh.

That's what the FAQin Wiki is for. :)

Yes thank you for that. The mod policy is also linked to from terms and content policy, so I've bitched in vain.

Sorry, I'm confused. Bitched in vain about what?

I just looked at the /s/saidit/wiki history and it showed only a few changes for some reason. I don't know if it's the new CSS, my browser, or what. It's nice to see M7 updated it recently but I can't see much past that. I was going to look back to when I was there last to see what's new.

I love the new animated banner thing but it moves far too fast and is too distracting. Creeping slow would be better.

Oh, about links to the mod policy.

That overall wiki history only shows the last week or something. If you check an individual page, the full edit history is there.

Oh, yes, mod policy links would be good.

That master-wiki-page is an individual page too. Before you used to be able to see a whole page of edits, perhaps the entire history, not just a week. Where has the full edit history gone?

Same issue:
* /s/SaidIt/wiki/revisions/
* /s/DecentralizeAllThings/wiki/revisions/

The "terms & content policy" doesn't really express terms nor content policy nor inform too much as it's mostly just discussion. It could be folded into the FAQ with links citing to that post. But that's just my opinion.

Hmm temporary? Maybe I choose the wrong one then, I meant the super jacked Uncle Sam injecting himself with Oil.

[–]JasonCarswell 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

It was supposed to be a temporary banner until I finished the "final" banner(s). I never got around to it and now I don't feel motivated.

And now, shortly after they revised the website with some minor but welcome improvements, some of the old CSS stuff done broke - including oil addicted Uncle Sam banner.

I have some Ideas about that, hit you up later when I can make a full and better response, maybe tonight, but I have to walk real miles IRL ATM so I might just say: I'll wait until Sunday or something.
