Why not use Reddit then? They ban mean speech so you won't have to see it. This site will inevitably have things that offend you, because it allows free speech. Why put yourself in a situation to be constantly offended when you could just be at ease somewhere else?

Free speech is not free and does not come without responsibility. Hate speech OR promoting violence is not contained within the notion of Free speech.

Show me where "hate speech" isn't included in the notion of free speech. And acknowledge that it's such a vague term that criticism of the church could just go back to being a crime, based on your ideology.

Promotion of violence is a touchy one. Left wing political figures are in the media every day, promoting violence against the right. Should they be arrested for it? Direct calls for specific acts of violence is still illegal, of course. Instructing anyone to commit a crime is illegal, even if it's not a violent crime.

If we are discussion just this forum, and not the legalities of free speech, then I support whatever the site owners choose. It's their site. As long as they don't break any criminal laws. I can always just leave if I don't like their choices.

oh dear god, grow up.

One man's hate speech is another man's interesting philosophical debate.
