I often think if we don't know who gave "likes", there must be many bots giving likes.

This is true for paid facebook posts (they get likes from bots so the advertiser think people liked her/his ad).

Though for saidit, I wonder why you would think that because most (if not all) 'hot' posts are posted by genuine interacting users accounts. Now if Spam was populationg the 'hot' section... I would agree with your thought.

So no suspicions posts with a lot of votes that set you off, just the assumption that programmers make bots (which I think is a bit or at all wrong)?
