The posts are. I guess I can start deleting subs too. Not really hurting anything though

Just looks bad to new users. Like looking at a property and seeing broken windows. A telltale sign that nobody cares what's going on there.

I guess... when are they seeing these though, on the 10th page of browsing through the subs subscription list? I'll remove them

Well, new users are likely to browse the new subs list for things to subscribe to. Seeing spam isn't a good look.

Saidit is only going to get better from now on. It's got to look professional because as more people come in, fancy people who can really participate will give it a sniff. If they don't like what they see they'll leave and never come back. :(

I know, it's fixed. But it's not like this is something on the front page, this is something very deep in the site, you have to dig a lot to even see those at all. But ultimately you are right, I want to keep the site clean and nice

Why do they have thousands of subscribers?

Because until a few days ago, new users were auto-subscribed to every sub on saidit
