We are being DDOSed again, and cloudflare is catching most of it so the site is still usable. We are tweaking the settings of our DDOS protection to make it load faster

Does that mean the ranking of the site might go up

(I know, I know - probably not, but it's fun to imagine)

Actually it will help our rank go up, most likely. This is the probably similar to the manner by which reddit is faking their traffic

Yeah Reddit fakes everything. They say they have 300 million users but look at r/announcements. Only 35 million accounts subscribed to it and most people have a bunch of accounts.
