It seems that Reddit is going on another censorship binge, this time punishing users who show support of the protestors in Hong Kong. Perhaps that will mean another jump in activity on Saidit?

Yesterday, on imgur half of the post were about HK/ China. A site that is mainly about funny pictures. Maybe a part of the censoring was about stopping the overload.

Almost no political posts about things that are not in line with US policies. In 2 years one about Yemen, none about the yellow-vests (with deaths). With the minor problems going on in HK, it makes be believe that we are being played with.

Addition: forgot to mention Assange.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tencent has some money invested in Imgur too as another way to exert influence over Reddit.
