Can you guys make voting like reddit why does a downvote have to be a happy face and count as a 'fun' vote, thats retarded

Although no downvote is a good thing, turning it into a second upvote does seem retarded. It is like a lazy code hack especially when each type of vote applies 2 votes instead of 1.
