No, they're not. Not all. Even revisionist scholars can be credible scholars. Bjerknes is not a scholar, he is a liar.

The truth is dead in the academic world 100%

No, it's not. The truth is out there, easily read in public archives and libraries.

Do you think Lincoln's Greenback would be the right way to go?

maybe, but real gold and silver coins worked for centuries or millenia through the history. that's real.

It would be quite a burden to carry coins for things that are expensive. Silver certificates work fine and would accoutn for all the silver you'd have stored.

silver for grocery shopping and gold for expensive stuff. i could carry two kilos without much effort and it's well over 100k dollars. i could carry maybe 30-40 kilos on my push bike and that's 1,6-2.1m dollars. that's a lot to carry even in paper cash. and i don't even have that much money!

also, diamonds.

Why not just Silver certificates? It's both an account and a unit of currency.

It's not, because it could be redeemed for the same amount of silver you own. That's the point. Today, we can not do that with our bank notes. You could always obtain the coin version. It's just that a silver certificate option would be more convenient.
